Instructions
Beat the separated egg whites until soft peaks form
In a separate large bowl, beat the egg yolks and mix with the golden syrup
Add milk, melted butter and all other dry ingredients
Add egg whites and mix thoroughly
Heat a non-stick surface waffle iron
When hot enough, cover the surface with a spoonful of the mixture
Close the lid and cook until the steaming ceases
Keep the waffles in a warm oven while slicing the bananas for topping
Serve while hot with drizzled golden syrup and sliced bananas
