Chocolate Belgian waffles with banana and syrup

Ingredients
- 3 Eggs separated
- 6 teaspoons Golden Syrup
- 1.5 cups Milk
- 1.5 cups Baking Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 8 teaspoons Cocoa
- ½ stick Butter melted
- 3 Bananas fresh
Instructions
- Beat the separated egg whites until soft peaks form
- In a separate large bowl, beat the egg yolks and mix with the golden syrup
- Add milk, melted butter and all other dry ingredients
- Add egg whites and mix thoroughly
- Heat a non-stick surface waffle iron
- When hot enough, cover the surface with a spoonful of the mixture
- Close the lid and cook until the steaming ceases
- Keep the waffles in a warm oven while slicing the bananas for topping
- Serve while hot with drizzled golden syrup and sliced bananas
